Completing Safety Forms Using Tablets

DrillWorks enables you to complete health and safety forms using digital pens and/or tablets. In this example we will demonstrate a typical workflow of a user completing a Vehicle Prestart Checklist. (click on images to enlarge)

1. Start the DrillWorks app and select a form type

  • Create and upload an unlimited amount of form types
  • Each form type can be allocated it owns icon

2. Start completing your chosen form

  • Forms can be comprised of an unlimited amount of pages
  • Form fields can be setup to be context driven i.e. a telephone number field will only accept numerical entries
  • Images can be attached to the form

3. Tablet data entry

  • The forms can be completed using the tablet’s built in keyboard or using a stylus (dependent on the type of tablet - only certain tablets offer inbuilt handwriting recognition conversion.

4. Complete the form

  • Once the form has been completed, you can save the form. You can then return to the form at a later point in time to edit/add/remove data
  • Once the form is ready to be transferred to the DrillWorks web portal, the form should be marked as Complete

5. Send all completed forms to the DrillWorks web portal

6. Enter your username and password to send the completed forms

  • If there is no 3G reception or no access to a wireless network the forms will be stored on the tablet. Once there is network access/3G reception you can then resend the completed forms

7. Delivery Status

  • A delivery report will inform you of the status of the form

8. Log into your DrillWorks web portal

  • DrillWorks is cloud based and can be accessed from anywhere in the world.
  • Even view the portal using the tablets own web browser

9. The DrillWorks Dashboard

  • The DrillWorks Dashboard gives you a broad overview of all the users, form types and forms submitted

10. Locate your submitted form

  • In this example we completed a Vehicle Prestart Checklist. So select the Vehicle Prestart Checklist option from the form types select box
  • Depending on your access rights you will be able to see all Vehicle Prestart Checklists completed by all users. There are various filtering and search options to isolate and find the form that you completed

11. Form Editing

  • Forms can be edited if alterations are required at a later date.

12. Form Complete

  • Once completed the form is saved and archived for future reference.
  • The form data can be exported into three formats; CSV files, PDFs and XML files. 
  • The form data can be integrated into any pre existing OH&S or ERP systems.
